Be good to you

Be good to you - regularly and often. As busy women, we go and go and go and energizer bunnies with no off switch, until too often we collapse in exhaustion, then fuel ourselves just enough to keep going for another long stretch.
You need more than that. You have a right to more than that.
Sometimes I don't think we really believe that: we are so used to getting by with so little that we think we just deserve sips of self-nourishment, that to do more, take more, would be selfish, or (heaven forbid) self-indulgent.
But what if being self-full was one of the lessons we are here to learn for ourselves, not just something we do for others? What if learning to nourish ourselves - with love, with self-kindness - was really the answer we'd been running for all along?
